All of our sails are manufactured using the finest knitted shade cloth materials available. The knitted shade cloth helps block harmful ultraviolet radiation, which can lead to skin cancer. We typically use heavy steel posts set in concrete that are powder coated for many years of service. The sails are attached to the posts with welded blades and hardware kits. All of the attachment hardware kits are manufactured from high quality stainless steel specifically designed and engineered for the shade sail application. The shade sails are hemmed and trimmed with steel cable for added strength and durability. The addition of the steel cable around the perimeter of the sail allows for better tension of the fabric membrane making the sails last longer. We have many color choices available including fire-retardant materials.
